The dual degree program provided by Agnes Scott College (ASC), is an opportunity for me to combine my interests in both the arts and the computer science field. As a dual-degree student majoring in Visual Arts and Computer Science, the degree program is structured in a 3-2 year system. Within my first three years at ASC, I complete the required requests for my first degree (Visual Arts) along with the pre-requisites for my second degree (Computer Science). Then, in my last two years, I transfer to Emory University to complete all the remaining courses for my second degree.

As a Junior at ASC, I am currently in the process of transferring to Emory University to complete the latter two years. The digital portfolio currently being viewed documents my three years as a Visual Arts major, however, my secondary sub-site, titled “Coding Projects”, documents my progress and growth within the Computer Science field.

On that site is a list of programming assignments organised by language. Each post contains an explanatory paragraph describing the objective of the assignment and a link to the completed project. Each project post has full documentation of the code, broken down into paragraphs explaining what the code does and a short demonstration video found at the bottom of the post. I hope this secondary portfolio thoroughly explains what I am learning within this new and exciting field of Computer Science.
